Two-Year Warranty
Subjekt Snowboards warrants to the original retail purchaser that Subjekt snowboards are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the original date of purchase.
If a snowboard is determined by Subjekt, in its sole discretion, to have a covered manufacturing defect, Subjekt will repair or replace the snowboard at its option.
Please review the information below before submitting a warranty claim.
STEP 1 — DETERMINE IF YOUR CLAIM IS COVERED
What is covered?
Our warranty covers manufacturing defects, including:
- Topsheet, base, or sidewall delamination caused by a manufacturing defect.
- Structural cracking of the topsheet, base, core, sidewall, or edge caused by a manufacturing defect.
- Misaligned, spinning, or defective binding inserts caused by a manufacturing defect.
Please note: stripped inserts or damage to the inserts, topsheet, core, or base caused by improper binding installation or mounting are not considered manufacturing defects.
What is NOT covered?
The Subjekt warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or neglect.
- Damage caused by improper binding mounting, installation, or adjustment.
- Damage caused by the use of solvents, adhesives, thread-locking compounds, or similar products.
- Core damage caused by severe compression, excessive stress, or impact.
- Damage caused by rocks, rails, boxes, trees, stumps, roots, branches, or other terrain features or obstacles.
- Impact damage of any kind.
- Damage caused by accidents or collisions.
- Damage resulting from anything other than a defect in materials or workmanship.
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect the structural integrity or performance of the snowboard.
- Normal wear and tear.
Snowboarding naturally involves contact with terrain, obstacles, and other hazards both inside and outside resort boundaries. Damage caused by these conditions, whether accidental or intentional, is not considered a manufacturing defect and is not covered under warranty.
STEP 2 — SUBMIT A WARRANTY CLAIM
If you believe your Subjekt snowboard has a manufacturing defect, please send us clear photographs and/or video showing the issue.
Your submission should include:
- Your name and contact information.
- Your order number or proof of purchase.
- The snowboard model and size.
- A description of the issue.
- Clear photos showing the affected area.
- Additional photos showing the overall condition of the snowboard.
Please submit your warranty claim through our warranty claim form or contact us at info@subjektsnowboards.com.
Please allow 3–5 business days for us to review your claim.
STEP 3 — IF YOUR CLAIM IS APPROVED
If your warranty claim is approved, Subjekt will provide instructions for the next steps.
Products must not be returned without prior authorization from Subjekt.
If we request that the snowboard be returned:
- The return must be authorized by Subjekt before shipment.
- The snowboard must be packaged securely.
- Unless otherwise stated by Subjekt, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
- We strongly recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method.
- Subjekt is not responsible for products lost or damaged while being shipped to us.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable.
Once the snowboard has been received and inspected, Subjekt will determine whether the product will be repaired or replaced.
Replacement products may be the same model or a comparable model depending on availability.
Approved repairs or replacements will be completed and returned within a reasonable amount of time.
